All in stock items are typically shipped within 1-2 business days after receipt of order.   You will be notified as soon as possible of any items ordered that are out of stock.  We ship orders Monday thru Friday. 

UPS Ground is our standard method of shipment for continental U.S. addresses.  UPS will not deliver to a PO box.   As an alternate, we may use Priority Mail which typically takes 3-5 days.

UPS guarantees delivery schedules (typically 3 - 7 business days) and provides a convenient tracking system.  Avian Enrichment customers can track the status of their orders via the UPS website.  Once your order ships you will receive an email notification containing the tracking number(s).

Our business is based in Western Colorado however the majority of our orders are shipped from a fulfillment center in Virginia.  We have included a UPS delivery schedule map below which illustrates transit times from our fulfillment center location to yours:

Shipping Charges

Continental U.S.

We do not add handling fees to your order.  We only charge the actual shipping costs as generated by real time UPS or USPS rate charts which take into account delivery destination, package weight, package dimensions and chosen service level.

Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO & FPO

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO's and FPO's will be billed actual shipping costs.

International Orders

At this time, orders are only shipped within the U.S. and Canada.

All international orders must be paid by credit card (U.S. dollars only).   

Customs and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.  

Drop Shipments

Some of the items on our website, particularly cages and playgyms, are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse which may impact delivery times and available shipping methods.   Items that are drop shipped will be designated on the individual product pages.   We will contact you for your approval of the shipping charges on these items.

Payment Methods:   US Currency Only

• Visa, MasterCard or Pay Pal     

• Money Orders, Personal or Business Checks (US Bank only)

• COD certified check or money order (additional $9.00 charge applies per box)

Payment in full must be received and cleared before an order can be shipped.    All returned checks are subject to a $35.00 service fee.

Sales Tax:    We are required by law to collect the applicable sales tax for shipments within the States of Colorado and Virginia.

Price Matching Policy:   If you locate a lower price on another website for the exact same product that we have in stock (ie., same color, size, etc) please give us a chance to match the price.  Click here for details.

• We can hold your order until it can ship complete.

• You could substitute a similar item that would meet your needs and we would ship the order immediately.

• You can cancel the backordered item.

• We can ship the available items immediately and ship the backorder when it is available (extra shipping charges may apply).

If we are out of stock on any item, we will notify you as soon as possible so you can make an appropriate decision.

The Avian Enrichment site utilizes a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Shopping Cart.   You can shop with the knowledge that your transactions are being processed with up to 256 bit Secure Socket Layer data protection (The highest allowed by current web browsers).

We respect your right to online privacy.  When you place an order or sign up for information, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and so forth. Your name and address information is used solely for verifying your identity and processing your order.  It is imperative that you provide us with accurate contact information in the event we have a problem with your order.

We do not sell, rent or share names or any other info about our customers with third parties. We will not disclose any personal information unless required by law to do so.  Information contained within general email inquiries is used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

We will occasionally send notices of special events and sales to our customers if they have requested it. We will always give you the opportunity to be removed from our e-mail mailing list.
