Dishes & Bottles

We recommend that you have a minimum of 3 bowls for your bird.  One each for water, dry food and wet food.  It's also a great idea to have an extra set available and ready to use so that you can properly clean and disinfect the used bowls daily.   Be sure to choose a bowl appropriate to your bird's size and beak strength. If your bird is a "dunker" or loves to make pea soup everyday then you might want to consider a water bottle as a means to prevent your bird having to drink dirty water.  Open water dishes are very prone to bacterial contamination but note that water bottles also need to be refilled and cleaned each day and the ball valve needs to be checked to make sure your bird has access to his water.
